What is Tara’s Team?

Tara’s Team is a comprehensive online database that catalogs the “It” List of San Diego. We give you the inside scoop on companies selected as the “best of the best” for Beauty, Dining, Fashion, Health, Pets, Nightlife and Services. Aren’t you curious to see who made the cut and why?!

Why is there a membership fee?

The membership fee grants access to the exclusive “It” List, which provides unique and up-to-date company information, and also covers the cost of extras like coupons or discounts that are associated with select listings. 

Does Tara’s Team offer a trial membership?

Potential members have the ability to view four sample “It” Factors from segments of the “It” List in each category. These sample lists reflect real companies on the List, but don’t reveal all information and/or coupons that become visible with a paid membership. 

What’s included in a Tara’s Team membership?

Membership includes full access to the coveted “It” List, unique insider company information, discount coupons added on a rolling basis and quarterly “It” List updates with new companies and/or categories.   

Do I have to sign up for a whole year?

Although an annual membership provides the best value, there’s also the option to sign up for a week long membership. 

What types of businesses are on the Tara’s Team “It” List?

Tara’s Team supports local businesses! The “It” List includes the best, coolest and often little-known local companies in the categories of Beauty, Dining, Fashion, Health, Pets, Nightlife and Services.  

How do businesses get picked to be on The “It” List?

Businesses for The “It” List are handpicked by Tara’s Team. These businesses must be unique and meet superior Tara’s Team standards. Some businesses may also be selected from referrals via the online Nomination Form. 

Do businesses pay to be on The “It” List?

Businesses don’t pay to be included on The “It” List, as the List is exclusive and by invite only. However, a company may pay to supplement their listing with extra features like photos and coupons. 

What types of coupons and discounts do businesses typically offer?

Coupons are offered at the sole discretion of the business. These may include discounts such as a percentage off first time services or “Buy One Entrée, Get One Free” at select dining establishments. 

What if there isn’t a coupon for a business I’m interested in trying?

Please email your request to accounts@TarasTeam.com. We will coordinate with the business and try to incorporate a coupon in a future Tara’s Team update. 

How often are new businesses added to The “It” List?

New businesses and/or categories are added to The “It” List every 3 months.

Are businesses ever removed from The “It” List?

Yes. Businesses may be removed from The “It” List if they are determined to no longer reflect the qualities and standards characteristic of Tara’s Team.

What if I want to recommend a business to be on Tara’s Team?

Tara’s Team wants your feedback! If you know of a fabulous business that’s missing from the “It” List, please let us know via the online Nomination Form. Tara’s Team will personally screen all referrals. If yours is selected to be included in a future “It” List update, we’ll give you a $20 gift card to the business that you nominated! 

Is the Tara’s Team website secure?

Tara’s Team uses industry-standard security measures to protect your information. We process payments through PayPal™, which is a highly secure site. For specific information on PayPal’s security measures please visit www.PayPal.com.

Do I have to have a PayPal account in order to purchase a membership?

No. Tara’s Team processes payments thru PayPal, but you always have the option to pay via credit or debit card on the PayPal payment screen. To do this, follow the link at the bottom of the payment page that says: “No PayPal account? Pay using your credit or debit card.” Tara’s Team memberships will be processed immediately for credit card transactions and PayPal accounts with sufficient funds. PayPal accounts with insufficient funds may result in a membership hold of several days for bank verification purposes. For additional payment questions please contact accounts@TarasTeam.com .

What is the Tara’s Team Privacy Policy?

Tara’s Team knows that you may share personal information with us, and we respect your privacy! We will never sell your personal identifying information. However, please be advised that the Tara’s Team site contains links to other websites and we are not responsible for the privacy policies of other such sites.

What do I do if I forget my password?

How do I cancel my membership?
